FSC CR

FSC Czech Republic (FSC CR) is an independent non-governmental, non-profit organization and a national FSC initiative active in the Czech Republic.

• Promotes nature-friendly forest management, wood as a renewable resource, and wood products with the FSC logo
• Creates (and later revises) FSC standards fitting the environmental and socio-economic conditions in the Czech Republic.
• Offers counseling on the basis of the FSC principles during certification of forests and timber-processing enterprises
• It monitors the certification process on the territory of the Czech Republic
